Discount Shopping with Pikaba

Pikaba.com is a social shopping site. I consider Pikaba to be Discount Shopping site, because it provide users with the facility to bargain. This article will give my opinions about Pikaba and its features. Please be aware that this is NOT a paid review.

About Pikaba

You can request for cheap products there for the price lower than normal. As a buyer you can interact with the sellers and bargain. As a seller you can seek buyers and provide them with discount deals.

Pikaba.com claims itself to be 'a community-driven online marketplace where members and their friends build long-term relationships with merchants'. You can read more about Pikaba if you want to know what they says they are.

The site has many features for both buyers and sellers as roughly mentioned below. The common place for both are:

• The blog, which features news about Pikaba and the changes made to the site, as well as tips and tricks, success stories, and newsletters.
• The account manager, which let you manage your profile and everything related.
• Rewards for buyers and sellers in the mean of contests.
• A community which list the all the members and let you interact with them.

Discount Shoppers

For a buyer, I recommend you to start off by searching for items on sale or anything, using their very visible search form at the top-right corner. For example, I serach for "cars" and here is the result: Cars on Pikaba. The results are quiet relevant to what I am searching for.

If you are not looking for anything specific, then you can browse the products at the products page. I'm sure you can find interesting things because I did. Currently there are about 2000 products listed on Pikaba, and the number is growing rapidly.

If there is no such items you are seeking for, don't just give up. Get ready to be amazed how sellers can quickly react to your "want to buy" requests. Place a request in the product request page and wait for some deals from the sellers, or suggestions from other shoppers.

Discount Sellers

As a seller, I have a seller account and already promoted to adviserfor some categories. Would you like to have a look at my profiles? Here is Apmart's Profile on Pikiaba.com. I also could find requests by buyers and provide them with deals or give them some comments.

It's very easy to interact with buyers on Pikaba. The best thing about it is that you shouldn't get flagged as spammers. Ofcourse, don't be too spammy. People love to see your offers. See, this is what make Pikaba different. Seller can list items on sale, and make offers to buyers without regarded as spamming. After all it's true "social shopping".
